Oregon City Pioneer Robotics Organization, or FRC 2550, is Oregon City School District's FIRST Robotics Competition Team (FRC) in Oregon City, Oregon.

FIRST, or For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, works to inspire students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through a world-wide robotics competition.

Each year, students in FIRST design, build, and program a robot in a limited amount of time. Students are mentored by professionals and work with local businesses to fund the program.

FRC 2550 is involved in many areas of FIRST. We mentor FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and other FIRST Robotics Competition Teams, host events such as kickoffs and competitions, and perform many outreach events.

The official FRC build season began last Saturday. OCPRO is already very busy designing and prototyping our robot for the "Breakaway" challenge.
